Many people assume that just because someone is into BDSM that their whole lives most revolve around it 24/7. Well I’m sorry to burst the illusion for some people, but even people who live a 24/7 lifestyle still have hobbies, work, family and even romance outside of BDSM.
That’s right, many Dom/me will put down their favorite flogger and let go of their sub’s leash to have a night of pure romance. Surprisingly it doesn’t even have to be on Valentine’s Day to do this. Time away from the Dungeon and shackles is good for both the Dom and sub and who doesn’t want to have a little more romance and passion in their life?
That is not to say you can’t be romantic within the confines of BDSM. Is there anything more romantic then taking ownership of another person? Perhaps placing a brand new collar around their neck? Or presenting your Dom/me with a wrapped present with a brand new cane inside and positions your own bottom for the trial run?
The point is, whether you want to spend time together in a vanilla or BDSM environment, you should always make time for romance and passion in your life. Valentine’s Day is that reminder that if you are not already doing it, then you better start, because an unappreciated Dom/me or neglected slave can be lost.
