As a slave, you already know you have an important job in your life – to serve your Master or your Mistress. And in this role, you have a number of duties. You might have a contract or a list of the things you are supposed to do, when you’re supposed to do them, etc. But if you’re newer to the position of being a slave, you might not realize that you actually have one very important part to play – a student.
To impress your owner take the initiative and begin learning by yourself. That way you will be able to understand and learn more from your Master or Mistress when they are directing you. Listen to What They Say

One of the most basic things you should do in your role as a slave is to listen to what your owner has to tell you. You need to shut out the rest of the world as your owner speaks to you. This way, you can hear what they are telling you and do what needs to be done when it needs to be done. This sounds simple, but sometimes when your life is busy and you become distracted by other things, you can forget to slow down and to listen. To increase your chances of being focused for your owner, you will want to prepare yourself each day by getting rid of the things and the thoughts which distract you. Keep a piece of paper by your bedside or in some other area where you can write out all of your concerns and then release them from your consciousness. This will help you to stay in the moment with your owner while still having a place to remember things you might need to think about later.
You will also want to focus on the sound of your owner’s voice. This will help you to pay attention to what is being said, no matter what else is happening in the room. Think about how your owner’s voice sounds and try to listen to every change in tone.

Rethink Your Actions

Learning isn’t just about doing what you’re told though. You also want to spend time each day considering what you’ve already done. This will help you to think about ways you can improve your actions and your choices in the future. By simply taking the time to think over difficult situations in your mind, you can practice going through the situation again and again until you have the ‘right’ reaction to use for the next time the situation arises.

Learn from Your Mistakes

If you’re not sure how to approach a certain situation after having made a mistake, you might want to go to your owner to see what they have to say. Talk with them and show them that you want to better yourself as a slave and as a person. This way, you will learn exactly what they expect from you and you can follow their wishes appropriately the next time. Of course, once you have learned the right way to handle a situation, it is then up to you to remember this lesson and carry it over into your next session.
Learning from your Master or your Mistress is a part of your job as a slave. And while it might seem like it doesn’t need to be mentioned, it’s the one part of your job that matters most. For when you’re not learning, you’re not growing, and your owner isn’t growing as well. If you want to help your owner be the best Master or Mistress they can be, you need to hold up your end of the bargain too – and learn from their well planned lessons.

Punishment Basics – Why, When And How
Most of us can recall a time when we did something wrong as a child and then were punished for it. We were probably made to sit in a corner or take a ‘time out.’ When a slave has done something wrong, as W/we have learned from childhood, sometimes punishments can be effective at correcting the behavior that is if the submissive wants the behavior changed. The point of the punishment is to link the inappropriate behavior with the feelings of the unpleasant punishment which will occur if the behavior is repeated. This allows people to learn (some learn more effectively from punishment than others) from their mistakes so they will remember to not let it happen again. To do this, the Master/Mistress can employ a number of mind controls that will cause the slave to rethink their behavior and reconsider their future actions.
