When you’re trying to think of ways to torment and to tie up your slave, you might want to realize that there are pluses and minuses to all of the possibilities. Though you might have been using things like scarves and cheap fuzzy cuffs to keep your slave in line, it’s not a bad idea to consider more specialized equipment. Not only is bondage tape and rope easy to use, but they are also going to keep your slave in place for longer periods of time. Here’s what you need to know about these bondage options.
Using Bondage Tape
Bondage tape is one of the newer tools you can add to your bedroom enjoyment. Available in a wide variety of colors, this tape can be aesthetically pleasing as well as a extremely easy and highly effective way to tie up a slave.
All you need to do to use this tape is to tear it off the roll and put it on the slave. Instead of sticking to the skin, this tape sticks to itself, helping to make for a tight fit, even tighter when as up wrap it tighter.
You don’t want to use actual tape, unless the slave wants to have red marks and patches of missing hair, since the removing of the tape can often hurt more than the slave might enjoy.
Bondage tape can also be used again and again since it doesn’t lose its stickiness. To take it off, you can use tape shears or you can unwrap it from the slave when they’re ready to be let out. What you will notice, however, is that bondage tape can be expensive in comparison to rope, but since you can use it again and again, it might be worth it.
Con:
- Not as durable as rope
- Not as versatile as rope
Pros:
- Reusable
- Easy to use
- Aesthetically pleasing
Adding Bondage Rope to the Bedroom
Bondage rope is certainly a popular tool in the bedroom and in the BDSM scene. It requires that the user knows how to tie the rope effectively, but once it’s in place, the slave is not getting out of the rope until it is cut off. There are a variety of different kinds of ropes including thickness, material and colors. For example, hemp rope helps to create a comfortable fit while also being tough in intense scenes.
There are also other materials of rope available, though you will want to stick with natural fibers as much as possible. They’re less likely to burn the skin and they can be washed in a pillowcase to ensure they are hygienic. Rope will only work for a certain period of time, and will need to be replaced over time. If you want to do suspension scenes, this is even more important to keep in mind. Rope will fail after a while, so you need to ensure that the rope is strong before you do anything that needs to bear weight safely.
Con:
- More difficult to use
- Requires knowledge of safety issues before ever applying (where to tie, where not to tie, warning signs to look for, etc)
- While some rope can be cheap other more specialized bondage ropes can be expensive
Pros:
- Reusable
- A versatile form of bondage
- Aesthetically pleasing
Proper Bondage for the Bedroom
No matter what you end up using for your bondage enjoyment, you will want to get training in this practice. This training will allow you to see how to properly tie up a slave and it will ensure that you aren’t doing anything that might cause permanent damage. Of course, just using rope or tape in the bedroom is fun and learning as you go can also teach you a variety of things about the slave and about the bondage techniques. You might also want to try a combination of tape and rope, helping to tie up any wiggling parts or helping to decorate a slave in bondage gear.
Bondage tape and bondage rope both have their appeal and their benefits. They can help to secure even the strongest slave, helping to keep them in line and helping to ensure a scene that is intense, effective, and controlling.
